-after a series of romantic holiday-themed movies this year that you can watch from the comfort of your own home
Narrative
Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family are competing to win Fan of the Year, in a process judged by Director of Fan Engagement Derrick.
The locations that served as the Higman family store and Norma and Nick’s BBQ restaurant are real-life family-owned businesses
The movie was filmed on the historic Independence Square location in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like it all year round.
I thought it was a cute movie
The Square also has a Christmas lighting display like the one in the movie..
It’s definitely a distinctive movie, with the top family always trying to get in
It has a sports theme and I liked the little Easter eggs (Donna Kelce, Andy Reid, and older retired players) that appeared in the movie.
I highly recommend watching the movie, especially if you’re a woman who likes sports and romance
This movie was a nice departure from the usual “high-powered female executive who comes to a small town to fix something and falls in love with a small town guy” although that wasn’t as big a theme as football.
