Kung Fu prodigy Li Fong is uprooted from his home in Beijing and forced to move to New York. When a friend needs his help, Li enters a karate competition. Li’s professor, Dr. Han, enlists the help of the original Karate Kid, Daniel LaRusso. On November 21, 2023, Sony released a video with Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan, announcing that they are both returning for a new film, as well as a worldwide casting.
